چکیده
Polymeric nanocomposites are an emerging research topic, as they improve fiber-reinforced composites’ thermo-mechanical and tribological properties. Nanomaterials electrical thermal conductivity provide excellent wear friction resistance to the polymer matrix material. In this work, a systematic study was carried out examine tensile hardness properties of carbon fiber epoxy composite comprising nano-sized Al2O3 SiC fillers. The confirms that adding nano-fillers produces superior for composites. amount filler loading ranged from 1, 1.5, 1.75, 2% by weight resin 1.25, maximum strength gain 29.54% modulus 2.42% were noted filled at 1.75 wt.% loading. Likewise, enhanced 25.75% 1.17% in obtained SiC-filled 1.25 loading, respectively. property nano-filled composites improved with number 47 nano-Al2O3 43 nano-SiC, respectively, same

Synthesis & Mechanical Characterization of Carbon/Epoxy Composites Reinforced with SiC Nano Particles
Room temperature cure epoxy resin has been doped with SiC nanoparticles through an ultrasonic cavitation process. The modified resin was then utilized in a Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM) process with satin weave carbon fibers to manufacture nanophased composite panels. The nanoparticles were spherical in shape and about 29 nm in diameter. The loading of nanoparticles into the re...

This work presents an insight into the effect of conductive filler content on both electrical and thermal properties of a polymer composite system. The electrical conductivity of an insulating polymer can be achieved by dispersing conducting fillers (e.g., metal, graphite powder, carbon black, carbon fiber) in the polymer matrix. The resulting materials are referred to as conducting polymer com...
